Job Description

A lovely family but very busy family are looking for a cheerful and capable daily nanny to care for their two amazing children aged 12 and 10. They live in Notting Hill Gate, close to all the kids’ classes and schools.

Both parents work full time so a nanny who is extremely reliable and dependable is essential. A degree of flexibility is also required if one of the parents is caught up at work, especially if one of them is travelling. This won’t be a regular occurrence; however, they do need a nanny who can be supportive of a working family. As the children are older the family will need their nanny to have a high level of organisation.

Their ideal nanny will be their third parent. Organising school kit, ordering groceries, making packed lunches, packing school bags, preparing uniforms, arranging playdates, changing the children’s bed sheets and keeping things tidy. As the children will be in school for most of the day, a nanny who is happy to run errands, do a couple of loads of washing is essential as well as odd bits around the home, such as organising/rotating toys or culling out old clothes from the wardrobes. Most important, looking for someone who has buckets of common sense, really likes and understands kids and can establish good relationships with them.

Fluent written and spoken English is essential as well as being active, energetic, fit and fun to be able to keep up with two active children. A qualification in education is preferred.
