Part-time Nanny/Housekeeper – SW11 – G2.5 yrs & B5 months

A lovely little family is looking for an extra set of hands to help care for their two children as well as the smooth running of their home. The family have a cleaner who comes to the house once a week to do the deep clean (vacuuming, ironing, bathrooms etc). They live in a 2 storey home in Battersea with three small bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

You will be working alongside mum who will help with the children as well. One day is never like the next in the way that you may spend time with the older child for the majority of the day whilst Mum is busy with the young baby and the next day you may be asked to put on a load of washing for the family and help out changing the bed sheets.

The children’s Father is a double paraplegic and as much as he is able to get around without any help there are some tasks that are a little harder for him such as bending down low to unpack the dishwasher and put the fitted sheet onto their bed etc. The family ideally are requiring a nanny/housekeeper who is able to be flexible and adaptable to help out wherever needed.

Daily Nanny – G2.5 years & G6 mths – NW3

A lovely family in North West London is looking for their first nanny to join their home and help care for their daughters. The older daughter attends nursery from 9-1pm in which time you will be caring for the 6 month old baby. Mum is a freelance architect and often works from home, however, she will be in and out throughout the day. All normal nursery duties are required such as being responsible for the children’s laundry, preparing/cooking their meals, assisting with the weaning of the young baby from breast milk to puree foods and keeping play areas/bedrooms organised and tidy. The young baby will be transitioning into a more permanent sleep and feeding routine, which Mum may like your help with in the coming months.

As you will spend the majority of the day with the young baby you will be responsible for assisting her to develop to her fullest potential. Planning activities and games from sensory painting to stacking cup building to help her reach all her milestones. In the nursery holidays you will have responsibility for both girls, shared and sole care. Planning outings and activities suitable for both ages will be necessary.

The family would like a nanny flexible to babysit every now and again, either on a week night or over the weekend, however this would be an ‘if and when they needed you’ setup. The family have a cleaner employed once a week. A French speaker would be a bonus but not essential.
